Zetha Nobles is an educational leader, international author, and global consultant with nearly 30 years of experience transforming schools and communities. As the first-born daughter of esteemed scholars Drs. Wade and Vera Nobles of Oakland, California, she continues a legacy of excellence, dignity, and global impact with a focus on humanizing education for all students, especially those from historically marginalized communities. Her leadership spans diverse contexts from California,Maryland, and Louisiana to Kuwait and Dubai, where she's served as classroom teacher, principal, assistant superintendent, and founding superintendent, deepening her understanding of cross-cultural leadership and navigating identity, power, and dignity across borders. Creator of the Ten Dignity-Centered Leadership Competencies, Zetha has developed a framework rooted in cultural identity, strategic equity, and wellness that guides educators and community leaders committed to systemic transformation. Honoring an ancestral connection to nature, she co-established Iwalore Ranch, a 20-acre wellness retreat in Mendocino County dedicated to healing, cultural restoration, and community learning. Educated at Xavier University, Howard University, and UC Berkeley, Zetha is a sought-after speaker who blends academic theory, ancestral wisdom, and lived experience to reimagine leadership grounded in dignity, love, justice, and cultural truth.
